The project’s partners from Italy, Norway and Romania worked together and developed a handbook about the meaning of a Virtual Reality experience for young people. The handbook represents a tangible result of the project, intended for the youth workers to develop a digital mindset and integrate youth with fewer opportunities into VR non-formal education.
The handbook inscribes the use of VR in non-formal education within a theoretical framework and defines an educational methodology, called VR-Experience Corner, which can be implemented internationally in youth organizations. The activity is therefore indispensable so that VR can be integrated in a structured, conscious and responsible way within youth work for educational, training, entertainment, socialization and inclusion purposes.
In other words, it constitutes the theoretical and methodological premise on which an operational model of intervention that can be replicated and transferred at a local, regional, national and European level can be built.
