The project INTERNET – INVISIBLE THREAT, VISIBLE POSSIBILITIES is a Youth Exchange that will be implemented in Pazardzhik (Bulgaria) from 11.02.2022 to 20.02.2022 by Association NAVIGATOR. (35 participants from 7 countries). 

“INTERNET – INVISIBLE THREAT, VISIBLE POSSIBILITIES” addresses one of the most serious problems of the contemporary society human trafficking. 

It also focuses on digital technology as the intermediary for this right-abolishing act – a growing number of traffickers use the Internet to lure their victims. 

This projects aims to join the endeavours of groups of active young people, leaders in their community – from Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Portugal, Spain and Greece and to raise awareness among the participants and their peers for the impact of trafficking on society as a whole.

Furthermore, it gives participants the opportunity to be engaged in shared activities with economically disadvantaged young people, which pretty much consist a great part of the risk group of trafficking. 

For a six days participants will share a joint space with these young people, so as to share their understanding of the reasons that lead many trafficking victims in that direction and to show them how they can preserve themselves and alternative development ways. The participants will be able to share their experience, their knowiedge of the Internet and the digital space and their understanding of the seriousness of trafficking with their less privileged peers in a friendly environment that gives way to informal leaning through role-play, discussions and intercultural interaction. 

The final aim is to achieve a significant level of mutual understanding, awareness of each others’ problems and expansion of future possibilities for the development of each individual.
