Unbelievable, but is TRUE…
So, I don’t know how to start..I’m writing…what happen in this amazing TC... After Poland (we were in YE during 6 days) me and Costi went directly to Albania, in Vlore in another great project. :)
Over these two weeks I have had one of the most amazing experiences of my life. In all honesty I think I have learned new precious things about Minorities (the topic of this project), another important thing is essential to stretch ourselves beyond our limit.
During these days I made new connections with other NGOs, I was learning, listening, teaching, carrying, loving, laughing, crying, sharing ideas, opinions, a lot of creativity, originality, improvising, dancing, singing (some people told me that I have a good singing voice…hmmm :) !!! )
The way worship is over here has also made me realize that no matter how different we are in every aspect of our life, we all have one common belief and that is constantly growing stronger.
With 15 minutes before landing in Tirana the pilot said:,, Ladies and gentleman’s is a big fog in Tirana and we cannot landing..we are turning back in Rome ‘’..so after a long white night ...we arrived in Vlore... next day ..after 30 hours (planes, bus, taxi)...
The fun part
Every day...Was funny...the reason: the people I met had a lot good mood and enthusiasm...the activities, the games we played, the rooms, (very small ), the food, ( a lot of salad ) the music, ( a lot of Romanian music – 90% all the time ), we were to the Adriatic Sea...Also..Some participants were swimming... :)
This experience has completely changed me...
Although I had to deal with a lot of new and challenging situations, I met a lot of new interesting people, I learned a lot about the others and myself and above all I enjoyed being with you, sharing this unique experience.
All of us created a unique atmosphere and we lived in a place where people are so friendly, respectful, generous, open-minded, warmhearted and where tolerance, justice, confidence and integrity were (almost) everywhere!
Without their precious help and support and the energy that all participants put in this project, this TC would not have been such a positive and great experience for each and every one of us. I wish that this TC will be the starting point for new projects, friendships and dreams together!
Although, our time here in Vlore has come to an end.
Thank you, , Mimoza, Matilda, Tani, (the organizers) Anna and Luca (the trainers) Albania, Bulgaria, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Turkey!
The last but not least : Thank you, my friend, Cocio ! We were a GREAT team ! :)
